Week Three WP Hockey
Week three of the high school hockey league has been a lose-win-lose strike for White Pines.
White Pines first game during week 3 occurred on Friday, November 5th. The game took place in Desbarats, at CASS. Our defensive players were not doing very well during the first two periods letting in 5 goals. #2 Zack Evans started White Pines come back during the third period. Our offensive players then scored another 3 goals. Our other goals were scored by #12 Josh July, #14 Cody Anderson, and #17 Dakota Boisseneau. CASS took the win 5-4.
White Pines faced off against Korah on Monday, November 8th. We took the lead during the beginning of the game, the score being 3-2. Our three goals were scored by #4 Nick Dupes, #12 Josh July, and #14 Cody Anderson. White Pines weathered a storm in the later part of the game to hold their lead and receive their win.
The Wolverines played their last game of week three on Wednesday, November 10th against St. Mary’s. We lost 4-0, better luck next game boys!
