Wolverine Hockey – A Proud Tradition

As head coach of our school’s hockey program, I would like to humbly list for you some of our recent accomplishments:

  • 2007 – 2008 Wolverine Cup Champions
  • 2007 – 2008 City Champions
  • 2006 – 2007 League Champions and Music City Cup Champions
  • 2005 – 2006 League Champions and NOSSA Champions
  • 2002 – 2003 City Champions and NOSSA Finalists

and more importantly our philosophies:

  • a system-based defense and attack for greater player development
  • a standard of less than eight (8) penalty minutes per game
  • a tight defensive scheme permitting no more than 3 goals against
  • a strong commitment to the rink and to the classroom
  • an annual donation to Christmas Cheer by the players
  • high fitness levels and practice time stressed
  • dress code for all games
  • development of character both on and off the ice
