X-Country

On September 27^th, the WP X-Country team competed in their first Invitational Meet in Petoskey. The next day they competed in the Sault Trail Trot at Hiawatha. Sam Taylor had an amazing finish in both placing 5^th out of 100 competitors in Petoskey and 2^nd on Sunday. Other notables were Allie Holley and Rachel Brain, as well as James Isaacs, Dan Tappenden and Aaron Vilaca. 

On October 20^th the team competed in the city meet. The athletes braved the cold weather and rain and everyone finished outstandingly. Eight athletes moved on to NOSSA. Congratulations goes out to Katrina Brain – who finished 4^th helping the midget team make it to NOSSA, Allie Holley placed 3^rd, Ben Stewart placed 4^th, Jacob McLean placed 8^th and an incredible race from Sam Taylor finishing with a strong 2^nd for Senior boys.
